Welcome to Hodge Clough Primary School
Important Facebook Info
Important info - As you may be aware our Hodge Clough Facebook page has grown tremendously in popularity over the past year and both staff and parents value it as an effective method of communicating between home and school. In line with strengthening our safeguarding procedures we have been reviewing the way we share the information on the page safely with parents and carers. This is to inform you that over the next few weeks we will be making the Hodge Clough Facebook account, a closed group. Parents and carers will have to request to join the group if they wish to access the information contained within. We are hoping that everyone who currently "likes" the page will request to join the group and invite more parents to do so. We feel that this places our children's online safety at the forefront of effective home/school communication whilst still allowing parents/carers to access their child's learning and life at school. We hope that you can understand our reasoning for this decision and we will send out more details before we implement this change.
Ofsted inspect schools to provide information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools to account for the public money they receive. School inspections are required by law. They provide an independent assessment of the quality and standards of education in schools, and check whether pupils are achieving as much as they can.
You will find our most recent Ofsted report below.
